FAQ’s

WHAT IS YOUR SHOOTING STYLE?

I have a candid and documentary-style approach, and a love for those who do it exactly how they want.
Non-traditional, artistic, love-filled and without boundaries.

WHAT GEAR DO YOU USE?

Canon 5D Mark IV, Canon 5D Mark III, Canon 35mm 1.4/L, Canon 50mm 1.2/L, Canon 85mm 1.2/L, Canon Speedlite 430EX II, DJI Phantom 4 Drone

DO YOU HAVE BACKUP GEAR?

It’s never been an issue but should there be an equipment issue, back ups will be in place.

SHOULD WE SCHEDULE AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION?

YES! Engagement sessions are so much fun. I recommend them to all of our couples. They are a time for us to get to know each other and go on a photo adventure. If you are nervous about being photographed at all, this will cure it for sure. Come wedding day you will feel totally comfortable in front of the camera.

DO YOU SHOOT ELOPEMENTS?

Heck yes I do! Pricing starts at $1500 for an elopement of 15 people or less, and includes 2 hours of coverage.

WHAT ARE YOUR PRICES?

Weddings are $3,500 and portraits start at $400. My goal is to tell your story honestly. Request a guide for more details!

DO YOU WORK WITH A SECOND SHOOTER?

I shoot with my Husband, but also have a talented network of photographers that I often work with.  I recommend a second shooter for weddings with over 75 guests.

WILL YOU TRAVEL TO OUR WEDDING?

I love to travel, and will gladly journey to your wedding anywhere in North America.

HOW MANY IMAGES WILL WE GET?

The most important thing for me is to focus on the quality of the photographs and not the quantity. Generally, you can expect 50-75 images per hour of coverage. The photos you receive will be polished, high resolution images that tell the story of your wedding day. Photos will be posted to a private online gallery within 6-8 weeks.

WHEN WE WILL GET OUR IMAGES?

You will receive all of your final high resolution images after your wedding or engagement session within 6-8 weeks depending on the season.  They are your images and you may print them wherever you please, but I always recommend printing through my lab so I can ensure print quality!

WHAT ABOUT A SHOTLIST?

A list of the family members you’d like included in the family group photos would be a big help. Having a list of your nearest and dearest will keep everyone organized and we’ll be able to work through the groups efficiently so family can join the reception as soon as possible. An average list includes 5-10 different groups. Other than those groupings, I work best without a checklist. Of course if you are planning something unexpected please let me know, otherwise, I will be focused on capturing the celebration through unscripted moments in a candid way.

WHAT TYPE OF PAYMENTS DO YOU ACCEPT?

I accept all major credit cards, cash, checks or paypal — whatever works best for you.

HOW DO WE BOOK?

I reserve weddings on a first-come, first-served basis.  a 50% retainer fee and signed agreement are required to reserve your date. the remaining balance is due no later than two weeks prior to the wedding.

DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?

Indeed. If your venue requires proof of insurance, just let me know.

DO YOU OFFER MENTORING SESSIONS?
